AVAYA IP Office has two management options both designed to be simple and user friendly.
IP Office Manager
The first is the IP Office Manager which is IP Office's main configuration tool. IP Office Manager is a Windows PC application used to configure IP Office Essential Edtion.
As with all IP Office applications the manager is multi-lingual and coupled with the ability to use the application locally and remotely. This enables the administrator to manage any of their IP Offices from any country using their local language preference. The IP Office Manager operates on a local copy of the IP Office configuration file. Configurations are prepared and reviewed offline before commintting to the IP Office. This means there is always a back up copy of the system configuration is always available for disaster recovery.
IMPORTANT - IP Office is an offline editor. This means when a system configuration is loaded into Manager it is a configuration file copied to the Manager PC. Any changes made to that configuration have no effect on the system until the copy is saved back to the system from the Manager PC.
